State Killings - The Jamal Kashoggi Murder

The murder of Saudi-born journalist Jamal Kashoggi is a disgrace for Saudi Arabia. No one can EVER endorse state killings under ANY form. Jamal was the nephew of world-famous arms dealer Adnan Kashoggi who died in 2017.

It is a very strange case because the killing happened at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul in Turkey. It has become an international disaster as current US President Trump seems to indicate that 400+ billion in arms deals is somewhat more important than standing by the role as world policeman.

A highly interesting perspective for nations who have backed US invasions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and potentially faced with having to back up the US in their protests against Russia after Ukraine/Crimea...

Let's be blunt: geopolitical situations have changed. We were supposed to be at war with terrorists, and not involved in some cold war East vs. West scenario...

I fully realize we don't have the full picture yet, but it does appear that explanations have shifted, and someone is lying at the moment. These misunderstandings need to be removed - and it must be insured that this NEVER happens again. It borders on very serious criminal behavior when officials kills people outside of their national borders - and we should never accept that in the 21st century!
